SKATE PARK

The skate park is now open in Millcreek Park, it features ramps, rails, skate bench, and grind rail. Click to see pictures.

The park is designed for local residents and their friends to have a fun and safe place to play. Admission will be free.

The project cost was just over $22,500.  It is being designed by Skatewave, a company that builds durable, safe, low-maintenance and cost-effective skate parks for communities. The parks are created by top engineers and professional athletes, in consultation with recreation professionals and kids who love to ride. Every skate park is individually and uniquely designed. SKATE PARK GUIDELINES
Warnings this facility is unsupervised.  Any use is at your own risk.
The use of this facility is hazardous and may result in serious injury.

Safety Equipment
It is required that ALL, users of this facility wear a helmet.  It is strongly
recommended that the following safety equipment be worn at all times
to help provide suitable protection in the event of falls or collisions,
knee pads, wrist guards and elbow pads.

Please Remember
No glass containers, food, or beverages are allowed inside the skate area, or on the riding surfaces.

No items intended for use as ramps, jumps, obstacles or the like, may be
brought into the skate area.  Only the equipment permanently installed
within the skate area may be used for these purposes.

No pets are allowed at any time.

Do not proceed down a ramp until it is clear of all other riders.

Skate with safety in mind and remember weather conditions may create unsafe surfaces for skating.

Hours of permitted use are from 9 am to 10 pm.

Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are prohibited.

Only skate boards, inline skates, are permitted. NO motorized vehicles of any type are allowed.

Children under the age of ten (10) must have adult supervision.

Chesterfield Union Township Parks Department Reserves the Right to: 

• Close the facility for any circumstances deemed necessary.

• Restrict entry to the facility and ask persons to leave the facility

• If any of the guidelines are not followed or if unsafe behavior is observed.

Waiver Forms
Children under the age of 18 years old may not use the Skate Board Park unless their parents or guardian sign a waiver form.
