William J. Ingles, patrol officer
William "Bill" Ingles joined the Chesterfield Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer in April, 2003. He served this agency in that capacity until 2004 when he was hired as a full-time officer. Bill attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2005 and graduated with high honors. He is currently working with this agency as the afternoon shift patrol officer and is very active in his enforcement duties. He helps in the instruction and education of the new reserve officers. His role in this is as a field training officer as they job shadow him and his duties. Bill is the father of one. His son is active in basketball and Little League baseball in the community. Bill enjoys outdoor sports including whitewater rafting. Bill has been a great addition to this agency and will continue to do the community a good job in his duties. He is dedicated to being a fine outstanding officer. His interest and enthusiasm will continue to motivate the other officers to keep this agency moving forward.
