Gayle Hicks, office manager and communications officer

Gayle began as a part-time communications officer with the Chesterfield Police Department in March 1997.

Gayle has continued her employment with dedication and has grown in her knowledge and expertise each year.

Beginning in January 2005, she was promoted to full-time status and has taken on the responsibilities as the police department’s office manager. She has direct responsibility of all the records, paperwork, and day-to-day operations of the office.

She attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Communications Officers Course in 1998. She has been instructed in communications procedures with domestic violence and sexual assault cases.
