AMERICAN LEGION
The American Legion Post 408 has a long history in
Chesterfield. Although its presence in Chesterfield dates back much
farther, its current post headquarters at 5100 Mounds Road was built in
1972.
The American Legion is a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time
veterans organization. Its national headquarters are in nearby
Indianapolis.
Chicken and Steak Nights Open to Everyone
Each week, except during holidays, the Legion hosts the following
events open to the public at 5100 Mounds Road:
- Chicken Night: 5-8 p.m. Wednesdays. Cost is
$7 per person.
- Steak Night: 5-8 p.m. Fridays. Cost per
person is $7 for pork chops, $8 for New York strip steak, and $10 for
ribeye steak.
Regular Meetings
The general membership of Post 408 meets at 7 p.m. the first Monday
of each month. The executive board meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Tuesday
of each month.
The Post 408 Auxiliary meet at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month. |
